MOTIVATIONAL CAMPAIGN: SCRIPPS WELLNESS

Since its inception, the Scripps Wellness Program has helped thousands of employees improve their health, while allowing the organization to save millions in excess health care costs. Employee participation in the Wellness Program is crucial to its success. Creating awareness and improving participation were the main goals of the campaign. A multi-media approach was selected, with direct mail being a consistent tactic to launch and engage employees. Using employee success stories and inspirational videos from participants helped inspire employees to action while at the same time creating a sense of ownership of personal health and wellness. Since the campaign began, participation has increased significantly and is projected to double that of the previous year.
