Bringing home a gold for best Special Publication in San Diego’s Finest Awards, the primary goal of this project was to support the strategy of positioning Scripps as the leader in heart care throughout the western United States. As a result of the publication, Scripps jumped from No. 35 on US News & World Report rankings, to No. 20 for the nation’s best hospitals in cardiology and heart care. With increased attention to the program, Scripps received numerous requests for information and speaking invitations by physician groups throughout the nation.
